Coronovirus (COVID-19) Company Update May 2020

A message from Anthony Bennett, Managing Director

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to have a profound effect on business within many sectors and unfortunately, Property Management like so many have not been spared.

We have had to adapt to the changing work environment very quickly as the pandemic continues to change the parameters in which work can be undertaken with the majority of our workforce continuing to work from home.

We have had to take the difficult decision to receive financial assistance via the Governments furlough scheme to ensure we can retain the services of all our valued employees when we can all return to what we hope will be a normal life, however, life within Watson can never return to complete normality as it is with great sadness and profound regret that I inform you that Leo Ciavarella, Associate Director and committed member of our team for nearly 14 years passed away following a long battle with COVID-19. Leo has been a very important part of Watson and his contribution to the company both professionally and as a friend will be dearly missed.

To ensure we continue to manage your development to the standard required we have adapted appropriately, however, to ensure your matters are dealt with promptly please in the first instance can we ask you to direct your correspondence via email to or should the need require, our main office telephones are being answered, Tel 0113 273 8788.

Please continue to report maintenance issues through our online portal

Thank you in advance for your understanding during these unprecedented and deeply sad times, however, please remember a member of the Watson team will always be here to help when you need us.

Warm regards

Anthony Bennett
Managing Director
